How are Siena's mattresses so affordable?

Our mission was very clear! Siena slashed our ad spend, TV adverts, and store displays in order prioritize finding the highest quality materials at the best possible price. With us, you're paying for your mattress. And nothing else.

Siena was born out of a desire to revolutionize the "budget mattress" category. Because not everyone can afford a $1,000+ mattress – and they shouldn't have to! We found a way to give you high quality sleep at a price you can stomach, with the same perks you get at luxury brands (like a 180-night home trial and 10-year warranty).

What materials are Siena mattresses made of?

All foams used in a Siena mattress are CertiPUR-US® certified. This is a rigorous standard for materials, emissions, product durability and performance, assessed by independent, accredited testing laboratories. It means your Siena is made without ozone depletors, mercury, lead, formaldehyde, phthalates and other harmful substances that can be found in consumer products.

How firm is a Siena?

Siena mattresses are made for everyone, settling around a medium-firm feel. We call it our "sweet spot", working well for back, stomach, and side sleepers (and those who switch between the three throughout the night!).

Does Siena give off a smell when opened?

Accepted Answer

Compressed memory foam mattresses often give off a slightly chemical odor when opened, called off-gassing. We haven't found this to be a significant issue in Sienas (though off-gassing is 100% safe!). If you do notice a faint smell, open a window and it should fade relatively quickly.

How long does a Siena take to be delivered?

Your Siena will be shipped from one of our many distribution centers around the United States, via FedEx. Delivery normally takes between 2-5 business days from your order.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately not! Siena mattresses currently only ship to the contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii.

How much does shipping cost?

Siena mattresses ship for free anywhere in the contiguous United States. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii, we charge an additional $350 per large item ordered.

Can I clean my Siena cover?

Accepted Answer

You can spot clean your cover with a damp cloth, mild detergent, or hand soap. For bigger or deeper stains, use an upholstery cleaner or cleaning device. Take care not to let any liquid reach your mattresses foam layers, as it can damage them and void your warranty.

Important: You should NEVER remove your mattress cover to wash it! This is will immediately void your warranty, and could provide ireperable damage to your mattress. If you're worried about spills or stains, we recommend a water-resistant mattress protector, which can be removed and laundered.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, including American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover (though we do not currently accept any prepaid credit cards). We also accept Amazon Pay and PayPal.

How easy is it to return a Siena mattress?

Accepted Answer

Incredibly easy! All you have to do is get in touch with one of our agents via chat, email or phone. We'll arrange for your mattress to be collected, and process your refund.

Fun fact: all returned Siena mattresses are donated to charity, giving the gift of better sleep to someone who needs it.

What is the 180-night home trial?

When you buy a Siena mattress, you get 180 nights to decide if its the right one for you! Easy returns mean you don't have to think twice before giving things a shot. (We do recommend keeping your mattress for at least 30 days before initiating a return – adjusting to any new mattress can take some time.)

Do I have to pay to return my Siena mattress?

Siena returns are always free! If you paid an additional delivery charge at checkout (for those shipping to Hawaii or Alaska), that fee won't be included in your refund.

Do I need to keep any of Siena's packing materials in case I decide to return it?

You don't need to keep any packing materials in order to process a return. Thank goodness, since we don't think you'd be able to get your mattress back in the box!

What does the 10-year warranty cover?
